We had a fun trip around Texas to visit family--went to Lubbock to visit Michael's sister and family, then to Dallas to visit Michael's parents and brothers' family, then to Houston to visit Granddad and spend the night with my brother. Thank goodness for books on tape!!
Mom and Grandma came up this weekend to help celebrate my birthday. Christian says that I'm 11 again (really 38, but 3+8 equal 11, so there you go). Michael made homemade boston cream pie and fixed us a great dinner.
Hannah got her hearing aids in on Monday. She was happy to get them in and we're excited to continue working on her speech now that she can hear more clearly. The plan is to let her wear them for two weeks and then bring her back in to the sound booth to do more hearing tests and fine tune them once she's accustomed to having them on. Faith is officially over her ear infection and will now go in for one last hearing test to make sure that's back to normal. She started her advanced gymnastics class and got a fancy leotard that has a page worth of special laundering instructions--I guess you need only the best to do your back handsprings in. :)

Sounds like an epic adventure. Somehow, Brian always gets the most creative picture award (love you too man).
