Hannah's school

We got to enjoy some fun events at Hannah's school this week. The kids and I went up on Tuesday for a field day. I am really believing her teacher is a saint for handling that many preschool kids with all sorts of special needs at a field day meant for older, non-special needs kids. She was marvelous at modifying everything. They had a bounce house there--took the better part of forever to get all the kids into it. About that time a monitor rang a cow bell and said, "your four minutes are over!" WHAT?? FOUR MINUTES! Does she have any idea what it took to get these kids settled in here? Thankfully, Hannah's teacher pretended not to hear and let them keep jumping for a bit longer.

Today they had a water play day after studying water and the ocean for a couple of weeks. They had little pools set up, a sprinkler, some water guns, bubbles, snacks, a sand pit, a water table, etc. We even got to see a little garden her class has been working on--lots of rosemary and mint, some pepper plants, and a few others. Afterwards we headed over to SeaWorld to ride a few rides and have some fun in the sun.

I loved seeing the pictures of you, your school, your teacher and your friends, Hannah! Looks like your brothers and sister did too! Tell your teacher thank you from Gammy. Gammy

Great pics. Glad to see the one of the instructor signing to Hannah.

After seeing the kids interact, I think Christian and Faith could get a part-time job at that school in a few years.
