I took the kids to a Fiesta celebration next to our house tonight after we dropped Michael off. There was a mock operating room where Christian and Faith got to perform an operation. Neither of them took the oportunity to stick their hands inside and get all "bloody." They prefered using the tools. We were able to see inside an army communications van that Daddy works with when he's at an emergency. We've always seen the huge, secure vans but have never had the chance to look inside. The kids each rode one ride each (fairly expensive) and we were able to catch a song from the spanish dancers and drum corps. Would've been fun to see more of that, but our schedule didn't allow for it. We heard the loud cannons booming (Hannah hated this even with her hearing loss!) and got to crawl into a medical tank and honk the horn many, many times. Who knew a tank had a horn?
