Vacation

A couple weeks ago we took Mom and Grandma with us to a Christmas party for families who have adopted through our adoption agency. Notice that Grandma got one of the new babies almost instantly in her lap. They called her the baby whisperer!

We took a trip recently which included some great hiking. We also saw a couple of fun Christmas shows, toured a living history working farm, saw some neat historical sights, and went to a World War II museum. I believe Christian would've closed the place down if he was allowed. Faith and I decided to do a bit of shopping after several hours of looking at war stuff while the others went to another section. We went through beautiful art and jewelry stores. Faith commented several times, "Mom, I think I could do that." She had such an appreciation for the work that went into each piece--it was inspiring to me!
