Butterflies at the zoo

Thanks to Christian and Faith waking up sometime in the middle of the night and doing schoolwork (I'm always baffled when this happens and so thankful they're quiet!), we got to take an unexpected trip to the zoo and see their spring butterfly exhibit. We named Faith the butterfly whisperer since she had such a knack for getting them on her hand. She'd get them on her hand and start passing them off to other little kids in there. Hannah wasn't so sure what to think of them at first, but eventually she warmed up and let one sit on her hand. We spent about an hour and a half in that one exhibit! After that we spent time with some hilarious and angry monkeys and made a run through the reptile house. Always the boys' favorite!
