Science Week
We had a fun visit from Grandpa and Grandma during Michael's first week of vacation. We chose to have a science week full of cohesion / adhesion experiments. The kids definitely reaped the benefits of having both Daddy and Grandpa around to teach science!! Faith picked out a special recipe for us and made us all pink drinks one morning for breakfast. Yes, she did pick that sweater out special for the day she was making the drinks. :)
Saturday morning we went to a members' opening of our local museum's "Amazon Adventures." They fed us breakfast before we headed over to the boys' basketball games. We've tried to make this a week of relaxing fun and togetherness before Michael heads out. Several late nights playing Monopoly, watching Star Wars, and doing puzzles. We made a trip over to an inflatable jump place and and raced through obstacle courses and jumped like crazy for a solid three hours. That was a great work-out, by the way! Hannah has her hearing aids back in now, readjusted for the new audiogram we received. The audiologist that saw her today said she should still wear both sides. One side definitely needs it and even the right side, which is close to normal, is just impaired enough to make some speech sounds difficult for her to hear. She was definitely excited to have those functioning properly again!

Looks and sounds like fun. Was the using of both hearings aids again from the "special" doctor? Mom
